THE VISITATION OF THE GROOM
Prophecy given through Barbara A. Williams, July 1, 2000

“Things to come.  Things to come.  Things to come.  Things to come.  Things to come,” says the Lord.  “Things to come.  For I am the Spirit of Prophecy,” says the Spirit of God, “and I do tell you of things to come.  The Spirit of Wisdom, actually, foretells things that are to come.  And there is coming to the earth,” says the Spirit of God, “A Spirit and A Visitation that will turn people’s theology upside-down,” says the Spirit of God.  “It will turn people’s understanding of Me inside-out,” says the Lord.  “It will turn people’s mind the right way,” says the Spirit of God.  “And it will cause the mentality of humanity to be turned toward Me once again,” says the Spirit of God.  “For most of people’s thinking is twisted and perverted and turned inward,” says the Lord.  “It is turned in on what they are and who they are, and what they’re called to be and what they want to accomplish.  It is focused on the Great Big ‘I’,” says the Spirit of the Lord.

“But I will have a people whose minds are stayed on Me because their trust is in Me,” says the Spirit of God.  “I will have a people who think My thoughts at all time,” says the Lord.  “I will have a people who are growing in My grace and understand My grace, who won’t even think to try and accomplish anything on their own,” says the Spirit of God.  “Who won’t be self-conscious, and conscience of their needs, and conscience of their feelings, and conscience of their past, or conscience of their future, but they will only understand My moving upon them, and My thinking.  And they will have visions of heaven.  They will have visions of things that are real in heaven.  They will have an understanding of things that are to come,” says the Spirit of God.  “They will know,” says the Lord.  “They will be sure-footed,” says the Spirit of God.  “They will not doubt,” says the Spirit of the Living God.  “But they will go through what they go through in assurance and confidence and faith and trust in Me,” says the Spirit of God.

“And so I must have the bride’s mind,” says the Spirit.  “I must have her attention,” says the Lord.  “For I say if you will attend to My Word—if you will give focus and give thought to what I am doing, that I will come in and I will heal.  I will come in and I will save.  I will come in and I will give understanding.  I will come in and I will convert,” says the Spirit of the Living God.

“And so when this great move comes---this is a thing to come,” says the Spirit.  “This is a thing to come where I will capture the attention of the bride, where she will be so entranced in Me and she will be so enraptured in Me,” says the Spirit of God, “that I will be her All in All.  I will be her main focus.  I will be the One who has her full attention.  I will be the One who is totally grooming the bride,” says the Spirit of God.  “For the groom is called a groom because he grooms the bride.  He adorns the bride.  He brings her into dignity.  He brings her into his glory.  He brings her into his inheritance.  He brings her and he adorns her and he dresses her and he outfits her in a way that she will be changed forever,” says the Spirit of God.  “She takes on a new identity.”

“And so this grooming has to come as the bride gives Me her full attention.  It comes as she attends to Me…as I attend to her…as I gaze into her eyes and she gazes into My eyes…we are FIXED on each other,” says the Spirit of God.  “When I have her full attention, and I can absorb her thinking into My thinking,” says the Lord, “and I can deposit things in her soul that will heal her, and give her confidence, and give her faith, and give her courage,” says the Spirit of God.  “Where she will know Me as she is known,” says the Spirit of God, “then the earth will be impacted with this knowledge,” says the Spirit of God.  “This earth will be impacted and I will be known,” says the Spirit, “surely as I live,” says the Spirit of God.  “My Knowledge will cover the earth as the waters cover the seas because My Bride will know Me, and she will declare Me as I am really known by her,” says the Spirit of the Living God.

“So understand that this knowledge of Me must come.  Must come.  Must come.  Must come!  Must come in its full measure!  In its FULL measure!  In its FULL measure!  In its FULL MEASURE!!  In its FULL MEASURE!!” says the Spirit of God.  “And then the day comes,” says the Lord, “where the knowledge is spread out, and the knowledge covers, and everybody knows Me, and everybody walks in My Light, and everybody walks in My Truth.  And those who don’t accept Me,” says the Lord, “then I will be satisfied they have rejected Me because they know the truth,” says the Spirit of God.

 “And I will have a Bride that knows Me, and will declare My truth to a wicked and a dark and a perverse generation,” says the Spirit of the Living God.
