Pentecost is Returning to the Earth I
Prophecy given through Barbara A. Williams, October 24, 1998
     

The Spirit of the Lord is saying that, “Pentecostal Power.  The power of Pentecost is returning to the earth,” says the Spirit of God.  “True Pentecostal Power; That that they had to wait for,” says the Spirit of God, “That that must be waited upon,” says the Spirit of God, “That that must be waited upon at an appointed time, in an appointed place,” says the Spirit of God, “is returning to the earth.  The apostolic power of Pentecost,” says the Spirit of God,  “will return to the earth in a great flood,” says the Spirit of God.  “For I have sent it in years past in a trickle; Here a little bit, there a little bit.  And you have been wading in waters that have been ankle deep and knee deep, and there will be rivers to swim in,” says the Spirit of God.  “When the true former and the true latter rain mix together,” says the Spirit of God, “to bring forth a floodtide of My Spirit and of My Power,” says the Spirit of God.  “Then the power of Pentecost will return to My church,” saith the Lord.  “The Power that allowed the city to be born again in a day,” says the Spirit of God.  “The true power of Pentecost will be upon My people in the future,” says the Spirit of God. 

“And true apostolic anointing and true apostolic authority will come to My Church,” says the Spirit.  “Where the Spirit can be imparted to one, and one can receive by submission and by faith,” says the Spirit.  “And one can go forth and do great and mighty things.  They CAN heal the sick.  They CAN raise the dead.  They CAN cast out devils and preach the gospel,” says the Spirit of God. 

“For the power of true Pentecost,” says the Lord, “is something of great price.  It’s an anointing of great price.  It is the costly anointing,” says the Spirit of God.  “And I need people who are patient in waiting before Me, who know the moving of My Spirit, who know how to move by unction, who know what I want accomplished in the earth, and who are single minded and know how to go forth and do what I admonish and what I tell them to do,” says the Spirit of God.  “For those that wait for this power will receive it, and they will KNOW the real from the false,” says the Spirit of God.  “They will KNOW the true from the false.  And they will NOT be tossed about, and they will not be turned by every wind and wave.  But they will know truly My Spirit,” says the Spirit of God.  “And they will walk in power.  And they will walk in demonstration of My Spirit because they know the real,” says the Spirit of God.  “But for those that are impatient, there is only fleshly maneuverings, there are only false things.  There is only a false gospel,” says the Spirit of God. 

“And so I am looking for that person, that people.  That PEOPLE.  That people who will sit, and who will wait for Me at an appointed time in an appointed place that I might endue them with the real power that the early church had,” says the Spirit of God.  “That there would be love, and there would be such a power among My people,” says the Spirit of God, “that the enemy would not be able to penetrate, but that great mercy would be poured out and great blessing would be poured out in the midst of My people.  That there would not be one feeble one among your numbers,” says the Spirit of God.  “There will be no lack in My body,” says the Spirit of God.  “The Power of true Pentecost comes at a cost, and a sacrifice.  But that power is coming back into the earth.  It’s on its way.  It’s on its way.  And when I find the people who will wait for Me in the appointed place at the appointed time, then I will pour out that power like the earth has never seen before,” says the Spirit of the Living God.
