WALK WITH THE SHEPHERD AND YOU SHALL NOT WANT

Prophecy given through Barbara Williams, June 29, 2003

The Lord gives to you Psalm 23. For those people who don’t seem to be able to shake the concern, or shake the anticipation, or the uncertainty about finances, He gives you Psalm 23: ‘The Lord is My Shepherd. I shall not want.’

“As long as you obey Me,” says the Lord, “you will not want. Now, some of you will have to do some things differently, some of you will have to live a different way,” says the Spirit. “You’ve got to live a different way,” says the Spirit of God. “You’ve got to live by faith. And most of My people are living by sight, and by paycheck, and not by faith. And when your eyes are not on Me, then the enemy can make things appear and disappear at his will. And this is what has happened,” says the Spirit of God. “You’ve never kept your eyes totally on Me, but you have lived by paycheck and not by faith. 

“So now you will have to walk a different way. In times past,” says the Lord, “I waited for you to choose to walk a different way. Now, you have no choice,” says the Spirit of God. “You have no choice. You must do it. You must walk a different way now,” says the Spirit of God.

“And get your eyes off of paycheck, get your eyes off the natural, get your eyes off things, and off what you think the provision is, because you call Me your Shepherd, but you don’t obey Me in all things,” says the Spirit of God. “You call Me your Lord, but I have given you opportunity to store up for the future, and you won’t do it,” says the Spirit. “You just won’t do it. And if I am your Shepherd, I lead you in the way that is right for you. This way is right for you. This way is tailor made for you. This way has been set for you from the foundation of the earth so now you must walk a different way,” says the Spirit. “You must walk a different way. But this way has ample provision. This way is a way you have not gone before. This way is a way you will not know, so you will have to wait for My leading to move out and do the things that I want you to do for a change,” says the Spirit of God.

“So in past days and former days, you walked the way you wanted to go, like I told Peter. When you were young, you got up, went where you wanted to go and did what you wanted to do. And in this latter time,” says the Spirit, “I will lead you… someone else will lead you in a way you have not gone before, and may not want to go,” says the Spirit of God. “But the provision is there, the joy is there, the life is there, the excitement is there, I am there,” says the Spirit of the Living God. “And I will have a bride all to myself.

“So know that you have come full circle,” says the Spirit of God. “You have come out of the natural, out of man’s way, and out of man’s provision, and you are now walking into the supernatural. If you will take Me as your Shepherd, you’ll lack for nothing. You will lack for NOTHING! NOTHING! And I will withhold nothing from you if you will let Me lead you and guide you,” says the Spirit of the Living God.

There are some of you who have had fear that God won’t do it for you. Somehow you have still not managed to get over the fear of ‘Will God do it for me? If I do it totally God’s way, will He do it for me?’ And the Lord says, “You will find out. That’s something you know only by experience,” says the Spirit of God. “You will know I’ll do it for you if you will trust Me to do it for you,” says the Spirit of the Living God.
