The Good Shepherd I: "Get to Know Me"
Prophecy given through Barbara A. Williams, December 2, 2000

"The Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd. Get to know the Good Shepherd," says the Spirit of God. "Get to know the good Shepherd. Get to know… Get to know Me, for I am the Good Shepherd. Get to know Me AS the Good Shepherd," says the Spirit of God. "Get to know Me as the One who leads you and guides you into that which is good," says the Spirit of God. "For that which is good is a blessing to you. That which is good has been promised to you. That which is good has My stamp of approval on it; it has My seal on it," says the Spirit of God. "Get to know and get to trust the Good Shepherd to lead you and to guide you in the way that you should go," says the Spirit of God.

"For many of you have not passed this way before. This is why you need the Shepherd. Many of you stumble at you don't know what. This is why you need the Good Shepherd. Many of you think you know your way around the Kingdom, but you've only been going around in little circles," says the Good Shepherd. "And so I want to expand your horizons. I want to show you things that I have longed to show you, but you must trust Me as the Good Shepherd before you can follow," says the Spirit of God. "For if you don't know that I am good and you don't trust that I am good, you will be reluctant to go forward in Me," says the Spirit of God. You'll be reluctant to trust Me in things that you've never trusted Me in before. You'll be reluctant to venture into new areas that I need to send you into for the sake of My Name," says the Spirit of God. "Some things are for the sake of My Name, not just for what you need," says the Spirit of God. "And so if you could trust Me as the Good Shepherd, as the one who only leads you into the good and not the bad--As the one who can cause everything to work together for your good, and not to your evil, not to your destruction. If you would just trust My leading," says the Spirit of God, "then the Good Shepherd would come in, and the Good Shepherd would set up a table for you, and we will talk about things and we will discuss things, and I will open up understanding to you, and I will open up knowledge to you; this is what I desire to do," says the Good Shepherd. "I desire to do these things," says the Good Shepherd. "I desire to have this type of relationship with you-a trust relationship, where if you dine with Me and I dine with you, and you sup with Me and I sup with you, then we can share many things. We can talk freely," says the Good Shepherd. "You can eat the type of food that I eat," says the Good Shepherd. "You can dine on the king's food," says the Good Shepherd. "You can have the best that this world, and the world to come has to offer," says the Good Shepherd.

"But you've got to know Me as the One who is leading you, even into difficult places," says the Good Shepherd. "Even into places that you may not want to go," says the Good Shepherd. "Even into the deep recesses of your heart, for you have not wanted to dwell-you have not wanted to look there-you have not wanted to investigate there. But I can lead you there, and I can show you what it is that bothers you. I can show you what it is that keeps you from going forward. I can take these things away and restore your soul," says the Good Shepherd. "I can do a total overhaul in your thinking," says the Good Shepherd. "And you'll be able to think like Me, and have the results that you desire to have in this life," says the Good Shepherd.

"So trust Me. Trust the Good Shepherd. I am good. I am good. I am good. I do good. I lead you into good. And goodness and mercy will follow you if you trust Me and obey Me," says the Good Shepherd. "And the things that you desire, the things that you want will be easy for you because you take on My ability. You take on My faith. You take on My vision. You take on everything that I have for you and you can believe for the impossible and you can reach the unattainable," says the Good Shepherd.

"And so trust Me. I have many places to lead you that you don't even know about. You've never been there. And I desire to take you there because there is blessing there, there is peace there, there's provision there, there is understanding of Me there," says the Good Shepherd… says the Good Shepherd… says the Good Shepherd who gives His life for the sheep. "There's no danger for you because I have already given My life in your place, and you can trust My leading," says the Good Shepherd.

"And thank Me for My provision in advance," says the Good Shepherd. "Thank Me for My provision in advance and it will be there when you get to the place where you need it. Thank Me in advance so that it will be laid up for you," says the Good Shepherd. "Thank Me in advance so that it can be laid up for you so that when you get there it will be there waiting for you," says the Good Shepherd. "It will be there waiting for you. It will be there. It will. It will be there waiting for you when you get to the place where I lead you to," says the Good Shepherd.
