2004! THE YEAR RELIGION IS BROUGHT DOWN
Prophecy given through Barbara Williams, November 15, 2003

“The coming year… The coming year will be a year, that will be filled with excitement, for I, the Lord, am excited in my heart, and in my Spirit for what will transpire in the year to come in my church, and in my people,” says the Spirit of God. “You will see religion fall,” says the Lord. “You are already beginning to see. Religion is religion,” says the Spirit. “I see no difference between imitations of Christian in religion, imitations of Muslim in religion; I see no difference, religion is religion. It’s all of the devil,” says the Spirit of God. “You will see religion crumble before men’s eyes. You will see people disillusioned because of religion,” says the Spirit of God. “You will see the spirit of religion, the spiritual Babylon, the false church come down,” says the Spirit of God. “And down, and down, and down, and down, and down, so that you will step your foot on religion’s neck, and walk over it, and trample over it,” says the Spirit. 

“And many people will throng to the real,” says the Lord. “Many people will throng to the real and the explosion and growth in the people of God; not necessarily the church and the organized religion, but the explosion of people coming into the kingdom and being aware of my Spirit, and being excited about the things of my Spirit, and delving deep into my Spirit will increase,” says the Spirit of God. “Will increase,” says the Spirit of God. 

“And those who can’t get the taste of religion out of their mouths will be sorely disappointed, for it will not stand any longer, and they will be dry, and they will be left out, and they will be discouraged, and they will be disgruntled, and great anger will come upon them because they have invested all of their lives in what was false, and they will see what you have is true, and they will desire the true. But some of them will have such pride, they will not want to repent, and come in, and take a drink of living water,” says the Spirit of the Living God. 

“So understand my plan is to rescue the whole earth,” says the Lord. “There will be those who will renounce religion, who will humble themselves, and will bow to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, and come into my throne room, and want to be blessed, and want to learn, and want to grow. But I am telling you this day that religion is toppling all over the earth. Religion: the last stronghold that keeps my people bound, and keeps them in the false, and keeps them missing Me. So you see why I’m excited!” says the Spirit of God. “You see why I’m excited! And it’s because of the prayers of the faithful… the prayers of the church… Your prayers, and the prayers of others who can discern and know the true from the false, that I am able to move and topple this thing, because the true church has said she doesn’t want it, the true church has renounced it, the true church has not lived in it, and the true church has not partaken of it,” says the Spirit of God. 

“So religion, with all its falseness, with all its form and fashion has finally bowed its knee to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, and I can rightfully save those who want to be saved because this gospel will be preached as the witness of signs and wonders in the earth and then the end will come. The gospel will be preached as a witness, and a witness does signs and wonders, and then the end will come,” says the Spirit of the Living God. 

“So hold fast to that which is true, hold fast that which is proven, hold fast to that which you know is Me,” says the Spirit. “Hold fast to it, HOLD FAST to it!” says the Lord. “Because the great flood of cleansing of the earth will sweep religion away, and the things that you are holding onto that are false will grip you and sweep you away with it,” says the Spirit of God. “So let go of any false things that you maybe holding onto! Let go of any form with no power that you may like! Let go of all the toys… all the religious things that you may enjoy doing,” says the Spirit of God. “And hold fast… hold onto with your very life that which you know is of Me and that which you have proven to be of Me,” says the Spirit of God.
