TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD, HE IS GOOD

Prophecy given through Barbara Williams, May 4, 2003

“O taste and see that the Lord is good,” says the Spirit. “Taste and see that the Lord, He is good. Taste with your ears, taste with your eyes, taste with your heart, taste with your senses. Taste and see that Lord, He is good,” says the Spirit of God.

“For when you come together, many of you bring many different ideas and needs and wants and desires, but you cannot taste what I have for you if you’re not focused on what I am focused on. Focus on My goodness. Lay aside what you’re about to get next to, or what you’re about to get to next when you leave this place,” says the Spirit. “Focus on Me, and what I am doing in your midst right now,” says the Spirit of God. “If you will stop and taste and see, you would see that the Lord, He is good. If you would but stop and taste and see, you would see that the Lord, He is good. For I am good all the time, I am good to every one, and I am good in all things,” says the Spirit of God.

“And some of you have come near, and drawn back, and come near, and never tasted,” says the Spirit of God. “You have never tasted of Me. For you are busy with your own ideas, and your own thoughts, and what you want to get to next, and what you want Me to do for you, but you have never tasted to see that I, the Lord, am good.

“So come near to Me, and focus on Me. Open your heart, open your ears, open your eyes to see, hear, and taste, and touch, and feel as I would have you see, touch, taste, and feel,” says the Spirit. “For if you would lay aside everything that concerns you and give this time to Me, you would surely taste and you would see that the Lord, He is good. And once you receive a drink of this living water, you will thirst no more. Everything that you desire and everything that you need would be found here in this very place in My presence,” says the Spirit of God.

“So take the time, take the time, take the time to stop, and taste, and see that the Lord, He is good,” says the Spirit of the Living God.

“For life is a journey,” says the Spirit of God. “It is a journey with Me, and I have provided everything for you, everything for you, everything for you,” says the Spirit. “I have created that which you need, and I call it good, and I call it perfect. I have no plans of failure, no plans of distress, no plans of upset, and no plans of bad things for you,” says the Spirit of God. “If you would but taste and see that I am good, then you would be able to appreciate the good things that I have right in your midst,” says the Spirit of God.

“But it comes through tasting of Me. Knowing Me, feeling Me; My presence around you and in you,” says the Spirit of God. “If you would but stop and taste and see, you would find that I, the Lord your God, am good. I am good. I am good. I am good. And I am good to you, and good for you,” says the Spirit of the Living God.
