YOU OPEN THE DOOR, & I WILL COME IN

Prophecy given through Barbara Williams, May 1, 2005

The Lord does have a word of encouragement for you. “Some of you are farther along than you think. Some of you are farther along than you think on the road to recovery. Some of you have already allowed Me to begin working on the inside of you. Some of you have made promises to yourselves about certain things, but you’ve obeyed My Word in the mean time, and that means that you’re farther along than you think.

“But you do need to go through the big door,” says the Lord. “You need to go through the big door that will allow you to be totally free so that when I bless you, and I bring the things that I’ve promised you, that you can have the fullness of joy in those things. Because the fullness of joy comes through a total release of your spirit to be free to enjoy things by the Spirit, and be free to obey Me in all that you have before you.

“Some of the things that people call generational curses are merely vows, inner vows, and just the reluctance to believe Me for My best for you as it is written in My Word,” says the Lord. “So as you allow Me to permeate the areas of your soul, and to dig out and to root out those things that bind you to your past, (a vow always binds you to your past… always binds you to your past). If you will allow Me to root those things out, so that you can walk into your future brand new, then you’ll be able to believe Me for the great things and believe Me for the extraordinary things, then you won’t have sin still lurking in your soul, dark areas of your soul, that only want to trip you up and hinder your future,” says the Spirit of God.

“So look to Me to do these things for you. Look to Me to help you with these things. Look to Me to help you to confront yourself, so that you can be a more trustworthy person in your own eyes,” says the Lord. “You can trust Me more and more and you can believe Me for more and more things. You can allow Me to come in and help all of the things that need to be helped in your life,” says the Lord. “All these things that need to be helped can be helped. ALL of these things that… ALL of these things! ALL of these things! ALL of these things that need to be helped can be helped. They can be helped! They can be helped! They can be helped! For I Am the Helper,” says the Holy Spirit. “I Am the Helper. I Am the One who is called to walk along side you, to hold you up and to help you in everything,” says the Lord.

“So trust Me that I can unbind you from that which binds you,” says the Lord. “That I can help you get through what you need to get through,” says the Lord. “And I can give you your breakthrough. Everything that needs to be broken through will be broken through,” says the Lord. “And I will bring great release to you and great favor and great blessing and great freedom to obey Me, and to receive everything that I have for you,” says the Spirit of the Lord. “For the vow locks the door to your believing. It locks the door to your believing. It locks the door to your believing Me for great things,” says the Lord.

“So if you will allow Me, I can help you. If you will help Me to help you, by renouncing that which binds you, I can help you,” says the Lord. “You open the door, and I will come in,” says the Lord. “You open the door, and I will come in. You open the door, and I will come in,” says the Lord. “You open the door and I will come in.”

Exhortation:
Now you know what the only thing you have to do is? You used your words to lock you in, you use your words to unlock you. The same vehicle that you used to bind yourself into a vow is the same vehicle you’ll need to use to get yourself out. It’s like putting a car in reverse, if you’ve got a certain distance and you drive and you put it in reverse and go back again. And so, if you will renounce whatever it is that you thought was binding you… (You ever notice that you start doing the things that you thought were going to help you to get beyond your hurt, and you still feel bad, and it doesn’t… You see, the vow never alleviates the pain and the suffering, only Jesus can do that). And so sometimes behind the vow, we’ve got locked behind that door a lot of pain, a lot of discouragement, disappointment, everything; And so it doesn’t fulfill that. Only God can do that. That’s a special place reserved for Him to be able to fulfill your life. And so what you’re trading, is you’re trading a locked door, and a diminished joy in your life for the real thing that God wants to bring to you. It’s a totally different kind of thing that He’s going to bring into your life. So it will bring in great possibilities. He’ll bring in great vision for your future. You know, some people can’t think, they can’t plan much beyond another year or couple years because those doors are locked. Everything is bound in because of words that we say. Renounce the vows that have locked doors to your life.
