SING THE NEW SONG OF VICTORY!
Prophecy given through Barbara A. Williams, January 6, 2001

  “Sing!” says the Lord.  “Sing unto me a NEW song,” says the Spirit of God.  “For this is the new year.  This is the first day that you meet with me as a group in the new year,” says the Spirit.  “So Sing!  Sing! Sing!  Sing!  Sing!  Sing!  Sing!  SING! Tra-la-la- Sing!  Ha-ha-ha Sing!  Sing!  Sing! Sing!  Sing unto Me,” says the Lord, “A New Song!  A New Song!  A New Song!” says the Spirit of God.  “I require a neewww song,” says the Spirit of God.  “I am tired, and you are tired of the same old song.  Hallelujah,” saith the Lord. 

¯   “For it’s the same old song… got the same old meaning and it’s always wrong…”¯

“So sing unto me a new song,” says the Spirit of God.  “Sing unto me a new song.  Sing opera, sing Motown -- I don’t care – but we gotta get a new Song!” says the Spirit of God.  “Sing a song of Power!  Sing a song of Rejoicing!  Sing a song of Wonder and Might in Me,” says the Spirit of God. 

“For the same old song is always a song of complaining, a song of bitterness, a song of what you can’t do, a song of ‘who did you wrong’ and singing the Blues,” says the Lord.  “So we get rid of that old song,” says the Spirit.  “Sing to me a new song,” says the Lord.  “Sing to Me, Talk to me of my wondrous works,” says the Spirit of God.  “And I guarantee you, you and I will like that song a whole lot better,” says the Lord, “because of the results it will bring in your life,” says the Spirit.  “It will bring great results, it will bring mighty results,” says the Spirit of God.  “And this is the purpose of the song,” says the Lord. 

“For the song locates your heart, and the song locates where you live.  Did you not know that those tunes that you buzz and hum in your mind over and over again locate where you are.  They locate your heart from time to time, for that is the purpose of the song,” says the Spirit.  “The song locates your heart,” says the Lord.  “And I want to locate your heart that is yielded to me.  I want to locate the heart of your Spirit man this year,” says the Spirit of God.  “I want to go deep into your heart that I can bring forth the song of joy, the song of rejoicing, the song of power, the song of Love, the song of victory,” says the Spirit of God.  “For there is much that I might have you do,” says the Lord, “and you must remember that you are warriors,” says the Spirit of God.  “And no man going into war sings the song of defeat,” says the Spirit.  “Any song except the song of victory and rejoicing is the song of defeat,” says the Spirit of God. 

“And I know your want to tell me all about it.  And I know that you have problems where you are.  And I know that everything is not right,” says the Spirit of God.  “But the song locates where you’re going to be, not where you are,” says the Spirit.  “The song I want to pull from you is a prophetic song that will bring direction to your life,” says the Spirit.  “And it is a song that I put in your heart that directs you in the direction that you will go,” says the Spirit of God. 

“So sing to me a new song,” says the Spirit of God.  “I don’t care if you sing it in Beethoven, Bach, or Eminem.  I want a new song of rejoicing and victory and majesty and power in this 2001 year,” says the Spirit of the Living God.

“There is coming to the earth,” says the Spirit of God, “a song of woe.  There is coming to the earth a song of woe,” says the Spirit of God.  “Don’t pick that song up,” says the Lord.  “That song is not for you.  That song is coming unto those for whom judgment is prepared,” says the Spirit of God.  “You have already been judged by me,” says the Spirit of God.  “In fact I tell you to judge yourself so that you won’t be judged by the world.  So you know where you stand with me at all times.  So don’t pick up the song of fear, don’t pick up the song of woe, and the song of lack; for that song is coming to people on the earth,” says the Lord, “but it is not for you.  That’s not the song that you are to sing,” says the Spirit of God. 

“For you are to sing the song of victory.  You’re to sing the song of rejoicing.  You’re to sing the song of harvest and you are to sing the song that you would sing as you go gathering and bringing in your sheaves of harvest,” says the Spirit of God.  “And you will go rejoicing and you will go gathering even in the midst of all of the woes around you,” says the Spirit of God.  “In the midst of all of the woes, you will still go gathering and rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves with great joy,” says the Spirit of God.  “For your days of crying and sowing and reaping in tears are over,” says the Spirit of God.  “Your days of sowing in tears are over,” says the Spirit of God.  “And you will begin to reap in joy in this season,” says the Lord.  “And you will go forth bringing in the sheaves that you have already sown and have already watered that are growing in your heart,” says the Spirit of God. 

“So sing that song that you sing when you whistle a happy tune.  As you go about doing your labors in joy, as you go about doing your work at your job—that song that you sing in your heart that brings joy to you, that brings comfort to you, that brings strength to you, so that you can continue to work,” says the Spirit of God. 

¯   “Just whistle while you work…ha ha ha ha ha ha ha…la la la la la la la.la la …whistle while you work … says the Lord of Hosts.  He is the Lord of Hosts …He fights for you and wars for you, so whistle while you work!”¯.

“For the song of woe is not for you,” says the Spirit.  “The song of woe is not for you.  It is for those to whom judgment has been prepared.  And those people have not heeded my voice, and they have not responded to me, and I have given them time, time, and time again to obey my voice.  And so the season of blessing must pass them by, but it is stopping at your door because you will sing the song of victory, and you will sing the song of power, and you will sing the song of rejoicing in this hour,” says the Spirit of the Living God.

“For I, the Lord, will descend with a shout,” says the Spirit of Grace.  “The Lord will descend with a shout.  A shout of triumph, because I will be responding to the great shout on the earth -- the shout of victory.  The song that brings forth the shout from your heart,” says the Spirit of God, “is the one that I respond to when I return to this earth to collect my victorious bride, and all the souls that she’s won for me,” says the Spirit of God.  “For I intend for my church to go out of this earth victorious.  Not barely clinging on, and not barely hanging in, but to go out in full power and full victory.  And when my church learns the victory shout, then the voice of the Lord will echo, and I will respond to my bride with a shout, and I will come for you, and I will rapture you out of this life and out of this earth to reign with me,” says the Spirit of Grace.  “So understand the song of the Lord in this hour.  Understand the song of Victory.  Understand the shout to the Lord,” says the Spirit of Grace.  “Understand what I am doing in this earth, and respond to me in the way that will call me down to do what I need to do in this earth,” says the Spirit of the Living God.
