"Protection in Not Breaking Rank"
Prophecy given through Barbara Williams, January 5, 2002

The Lord is speaking some things to me regarding the word that He gave last week (December 29, 2001) about staying with Him and being people of sacrifice in this year, and staying close to God and having unity in the Lord.

And the Lord is saying that, "There is a place of protection in Me; that abiding under the Shadow of the Almighty is more than just words," says the Spirit of God. "And I teach my people to beware of hidden dangers, and situations that don't appear to be dangerous," says the Spirit of God. "For the enemy is subtle in many ways, and he roams about seeking whom he MAY devour… he MAY NOT devour those who walk in unison with Me," says the Spirit of God. "But if you continue to seek your own way, you fall prey to the hidden dangers that you cannot see, and I cannot show you. But you are protected from them by abiding with Me and abiding in Me," says the Spirit of God. 

"And this is a very sensitive year in the Spirit," says the Lord. "This is a very sensitive year. This is a year to walk softly before Me; walk closely to Me. This is not a year to break away and be out on your own, but this is a year to stay closer to the leaders that I have placed over you, and to stay more obedient to the things that they compel you to do," says the Spirit of God. "This is not a year where the lone-ranger can feel safe," says the Lord. "And I am calling all of my people to abide under My Shadow, to stay under protection, to stay under authority, to stay under words of protection, and words of comfort, and words of healing, and words of strong direction," says the Spirit of God. "For there are many, many things that are unseen, and hidden dangers that you know nothing of," says the Spirit of God. "And they get worse and worse when times get more perilous, when there are shiftings and there are changes in the realm of the Spirit," says the Lord. 

"So know that when I call for a sensitive and delicate time, it is a time to seek Me, and be diligent about it, and be careful, and be circumspect in all of your dealings even more so," says the Spirit of God. "And stay close to Me and walk as one with Me, and don't get any new ideas about doing things differently," says the Lord. "But understand My direction, and understand My leading," says the Lord. "Stay close to the leading that I give you. Learn to march in step," says the Lord. "Step - Step - Step - Step - Step - Step - Step - Step. Some people think that sound is monotonous, but it will get to be music to your ears," says the Spirit of God, "because it is the sound of the comfort of my leading," says the Spirit of God. 

"And this is not a time to break rank, and this is not a time to shake yourself loose, and this is not a time to step off into something that you feel is the leading of God, but stay close to the leaders that I have placed over you," says the Lord. "Honor their words like never before, especially My prophets, that you know their words are true, and you know their words can be trusted. Understand how I lead," says the Spirit of God. "I am leading through My Spirit, and I am leading through My leaders, but this is no time to go out on your own, and this is no time to break rank, and this is no time to break away, and this not time to walk to the beat of a different drummer," says the Spirit of God. "But this is the time to fall in line, to do the routine things you know to do that keep you close to Me," says the Spirit. "This is the time to be very careful and be very circumspect because there are hidden dangers that you cannot see. And I choose not to reveal them to you, but I choose to protect you by walking close to Me," says the Spirit of the Living God.
