THE COSTLY ANOINTING OF THE UN-TELEVISED REVIVAL
Prophecy given through Barbara A. Williams, April 15, 2000

“A new Spirit,” says the Lord.  “A new Spirit.  A new Spirit I’m releasing into the earth,” says the Holy Ghost.  “A new Spirit I am releasing into the earth,” says the Spirit.  “A new Spirit.  A new Spirit.  A new Spirit.  A new Spirit.  A new spirit,” says the Spirit of God.  “It is a Spirit of great holiness, cleansing, purity.  It is a burning fire.  It is a Spirit of repentance.  It is a Spirit to draw you back to your first love.  It is a Spirit to draw you out of the confusion of the world and the confusion of the religious game-players, and the confusion of the mass-media; even the mass-media as it attempts to preach the gospel,” says the Spirit of the Living God.

 “For the revival will not be televised,” says the Lord.  “The revival will not take place by television,” says the Spirit.  “But the revival will take place in the hearts of many who just desire Me,” says the Spirit of God.  “The revival will take place in the hearts of those who long for Me,” says the Spirit.  “For great brokenness will come on My people,” says the Spirit of God.  “For they will be broken, and they will be spilled out,” says the Lord.  “There will be a great spilling out of what’s in you that you’ve allowed to creep in,” says the Spirit.  “That has never been dealt with,” says the Spirit.  “Things of old that have laid dormant on the inside of you,” says the Spirit.  “There will be a great breaking,” says the Spirit of the Lord.  “There will be a great pouring out,” says the Spirit.  “No longer bottled up,” says the Lord.  “But a pouring out,” says the Spirit.  “Where I will bring great release to My people, great healing,” says the Lord.  “For you are being broken open by the Balm of Gilead,” says God.  “And there is a Great Physician in your midst,” says the Spirit of God.  “Great Healing will come forth in My people,” says the Lord.  “Great understanding and great compassion will be poured in,” says the Spirit.  “A great revival of the love of God and the love for humanity will come forth,” says the Spirit.  “A great revival of compassion.  A great revival of the fruit of love.  A great revival of the fruit of joy and the fruit of peace,” says the Spirit of God.  “And a great BROKENNESS My people will carry with them,” says the Spirit of God.  “A great desire to see men brought up into a level of dignity that I’ve called them to,” says the Spirit.  “A great compassion for those who are without,” says the Spirit.  “A great compassion for people who are outside of My covenant,” says the Spirit of God.  “A great compassion for those who are ignorant, and a great compassion for those who are arrogant,” says the Spirit of God. 

“For this Spirit that I am sending into the earth,” says the Lord, “will cause an instant brokenness, will cause an instant repentance, will cause an instant, an instant understanding of who God is, will cause an instant understanding that God is in their midst,” says the Lord.  “It will cause an instant awareness of Me,” says the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ.  “It will cause an instant, an instant, an instant, an instant, an instant, an instant, an instant deliverance of a soul over into the Kingdom,” says the Spirit.

“And I must prepare your vessel to carry this ointment,” says the Lord.  “I must prepare the alabaster box,” says the Spirit.  “For you are the alabaster box,” says the Spirit of God.  “You are that rock that is carved out of the Rock Christ Jesus,” says the Lord.  “And you are the one to carry this precious anointing, this costly anointing,” says the Spirit.  “And if you will allow Me, and you will let Me, I will cause a great brokenness to come to your life,” says the Spirit.  I will cause a great compassion to come into you,” says the Lord.  “And great boldness to carry this compassion to where it needs to be,” says the Spirit of the Living God.  “And great discernment to know who to minister to,” says the Spirit of Grace. 

“For I have longed to see this day where I could restore this great costly anointing into the hearts of My people,” says the Lord.  “For many times I release it into the earth, and because of men’s desires, and men’s striving, and men’s competition, I have to lift it,” says the Spirit of Grace, “because it is a consuming fire,” says the Lord.  “And it has to be carried carefully,” says the Spirit.  “But I am releasing it again, and again and again and again into the earth,” says the Lord.  “Because this is the power that everybody knows needs to come,” says the Lord.  “BUT IT WILL NOT COME TO THE POWERFUL!  It will come to the humble,” says the Spirit.  “It will come to those who know how to stay on their face until they get the right thing, and not run off with a false thing.  Who know the difference between the true and the false.  Who know the difference between My leading and a false leading,” says the Spirit.  “It will come to those that I have developed in My grace and My understanding of what is to come,” says the Spirit.  “It will come to those who desire to see even those who have hurt them born again.  Even those who have defiled them and those who have abused them born again.  Even those who have rejected them born again.  Where the lion does lay down with the lamb,” says the Spirit.  “There will be that kind of harmony when this anointing comes into the earth.  And it is for those who have a vision to see that happen to them,” says the Spirit.  “First in you, and then to the uttermost parts of the earth,” says the Spirit of the Living God. 

“So this brokenness is coming,” says the Lord, “even in greater measure.  It’s coming,” says the Lord.  “It is coming,” says the Spirit of God.  “It is coming.  It is coming.  And it will bring great supplication and much prayer.  It is a Spirit of much intercession and supplication and prayer,” says the Spirit of God.  “Much intercession and supplication and prayer,” says the Spirit of God.  “Where your soul is converted.  Where your soul understands how to tarry with Me for an hour.  Where your soul understands what I am bringing for you to do,” says the Spirit of God.  “and it will not be religious thing, and it will not be a formal thing, but it will be a moving of My Spirit over the ‘whosoevers’,” says the Spirit of the Living God.

“So yes, the change is coming.  Yes, the change is upon you.  Yes, the change is even here,” says the Spirit of God.  “Yes, the change is here,” says the Lord.  “Yes, it is here!  Yes, it is here!  Yes, it is here!  It is here.  And it’s here for you, that you might partake of it and receive everything that I have for you,” says the Spirit of the living God.  

“Can you tarry with Me one hour?” says the Spirit.  “Can you tarry with Me?  Can you spend an hour with Me where your mind doesn’t wander, and you don’t think about what you want?  Can you tarry with Me one hour?” says the Spirit of God.  “And if you can, and if you can wait in My presence, and meditate in My word, and meditate on Me,” says the Spirit of God, “I will cause such a brokenness and a pouring-out in you,” says the Spirit.  “But I must have those who know how to wait with Me.  Who know how to spend time with Me.  Who are not rushed and are not pushed by the things that they want to do, but who wait only for My word,” says the Spirit.  “Can you not tarry with Me one hour?” says the Spirit of God.  “For one hour.  Yielded—totally yielded to Me,” says the Spirit, “will make all the difference in the world.  It will make up for all the 15 minutes, and all the running around, and all the things that you do that you consider spiritual,” says the Spirit of God.  “It will make all the difference,” says the Lord.

“For I need those who know how to wait with Me.  Who know how to expect what I expect.  Who know how to believe that their waiting is not in vain,” says the Spirit of God.  “Who know how to believe that I will deliver if they will devote that time to Me,” says the Lord.  “Who know how to tarry with Me,” says the Spirit of the Living God.
